Camie Vincent is the owner of A Step Toward Change Psychotherapy and a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to guiding individuals toward meaningful change, personal growth, and lasting healing—both within themselves and in their relationships.
With an eclectic approach, Ms. Vincent tailors her therapeutic methods to fit the unique needs and goals of each client. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Her practice also incorporates mindfulness-based strategies and holistic techniques that support emotional wellness, self-awareness, and stress reduction.
Ms. Vincent has extensive training in trauma and is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. She is listed with the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition, she is a Certified Adoption Therapist, providing support to individuals at all stages of the adoption journey.
